Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
We respect your privacy. The BrainUp Mind Academy app (package: com.onto.brainupmindacademy) was built to be safe and comfortable to use without collecting its users' personal data.
1. Data Controller
The app is published, and this website owned, by the brand operating at onto.pl. For anything about how the app works or about privacy, you can contact us by e-mail at kontakt@onto.pl.
2. No Collection of Personal Data
The app does not require an account, a sign-in, or your name, e-mail address or phone number. We do not create user profiles on external servers.
3. Data Stored Locally
All data created while you use the app — including game scores, Daily Workout progress, the BPI score and app preferences (language, sound) — is stored only locally on your device, in the app's local storage. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data.
4. Third-Party Libraries and Services
The app uses independent services to run and to fund itself:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): The app shows a banner ad and — only when you ask for one, e.g. in exchange for a hint or an extra chance in a game — rewarded ads. The app is configured as child-directed (child-directed): only non-personalized ads are shown, and AdMob does not use data for behavioural profiling or interest-based advertising. To serve an ad, measure that it was shown and prevent fraud, Google may process your IP address and basic technical device data (e.g. model, system version, language). More information: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Google Play payments: The app offers optional one-time purchases (a “coffee” tip, removing the ad banner, the Advanced BPI Report, the BrainUp PRO bundle). It offers no subscriptions. Transactions are handled entirely by Google Play (and on iPhone by the App Store); the app has no access to your payment card or bank account details. Only a note of which products were bought is stored on your device, and when the app starts it checks your purchases with the store so they can be restored, e.g. after reinstalling.
- Recommending the app: The “Recommend the app” button opens your system's share sheet with a link to the app in the store. You choose whether and with whom to share it — the app has no access to your contacts and doesn't see who you share the link with.
5. Internet Access and Device Features
The games also work without internet access. An internet connection is used only to show ads and handle the purchases described above — without one, no ads are shown and the games keep working. The app does not need access to your phone's private resources such as contacts, camera, microphone, location or media files.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when new features are added to the app or the law changes. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
